Hey there, wellness entrepreneur! Welcome back.
Can you believe it? We are in the last 90 days till the end of the year. And before you start to worry in stress, don’t worry, I’ve got you.
In this blog, we’re going to go over the phases of the end of the year. We’re going to break it down, and that includes the election. So you know when to dial in your working efforts and plan for when things might distract you, like the election or holidays, and when you’re actually going to take time off, so you find flow during this holiday season, and instead of ending the year being like, “Man, I didn’t hit my goals, another year gone.”
You either hit your goals, surpass your goals, or come closer to your goals than you have before, and know exactly what you need to do in the beginning of the year to hit them the following year. Because as long as you keep going, I’ll tell you this personally, you will hit your goals.
And this plan or organization or system to help you streamline your processes and what to focus on at the end of the year to make the biggest impact is both from the work that I’m going to do myself. I was just in my journal and in my calendar planning out my end of the year on things that I want to accomplish, as well as how I’m going to coach my clients.
If you’re notorious for making plans and not sticking to them, I’ve got you! This is me. I have a brain that loves to dream and visualize and make plans, but when it comes to the day-to-day of actually implementing those plans, my brain just totally rejects it.
For example, social media calendars. I can’t tell you the number of Excel spreadsheets that I’ve started with like the real type of format, certain hooks, planning it all out in all the neat little rows and then never coming back to it ever again. I’ve done that so many times. So if you’re that type of person, then this scheduling process and this planning, it’s going to allow room for both flexibility and freedom to follow those intuitive nudges and creative flows that sometimes you feel boxed in by a schedule or a plan, or it just feels tedious to keep up with it.

That’s part of my problem is I just don’t like filling in all the boxes of the Excel sheet of what I’m doing. This is going to be very simple with lots of space so you can find your own rhythm.
Overview Of The Last 90 Days From An Entrepreneur POV
So let’s get an overview of these upcoming 90 days from the entrepreneur, small business owner perspective.
So October is going to be a great time to really launch something, do a workshop, get an event out, just promote your services, whether they’re online or in-person. And the end of the month is where it’s going to get a little tricky because we have Halloween, which for some of us, depending on if we have children or not and how many children you have to get ready for Halloween and plan for, it’s a little blip or change of schedule in the week, but it’s not too crazy to completely derail you off any major goals or plans.
But the problem is the following week is the election. So between the two of them, if you lose sight of your goals or your plans and you go two whole weeks, for example, without posting, without promoting your services, without just talking to people and telling them what you do or planning for how you’re going to handle Black Friday and the end of the year and specials like that, two weeks can go by in a snap and then you’ve missed a lot of opportunities. So it’s being aware of those two weeks in the end of October and I’ll tell you how.
And then the beginning of November is another time again to get into the rhythm of work and do a workshop or a special event or really start to plan your Black Friday specials for what you might want to do. And then of course, then we have the Thanksgiving holiday so it’s planning for that. And then you have another two or three weeks, depending on whether you celebrate Christmas or what you choose to do during the end of the year. But it does slow down typically the last two weeks of December, the last two weeks of the year.
Before then, I also find that the first week of the New Year is also typically a little bit slow and then things ramp up again.

My Own Schedule For The Remaining 90 Days of The Year
So let’s talk about how to ride the waves of kind of the push without feeling burnout, hustly or grindy with the distractions and or just the fact that you might want to take days off. I know I am going to take, actually I have the week before Halloween, having a partial week then because I think I mentioned this on the podcast, the McLeans, we actually got a brand new car. It’s the RAV4 Hybrid and we’re going to take it on a mini road trip up to the Sequoias and we’re staying at a rescue farm because you know my daughter, she loves animals. So the AirBNB is actually on a farm and we get to have experiences with the animals and go for some hikes in the Sequoias.
And I think that blend will work well since Kaylee is not a huge hiker being nine years old, but she can be enticed into hikes when there’s sweet rewards like getting to feed goats and pigs and ride on horses and things like that. So that’s very exciting for us. So I’m going to be planning for that.
Of course, we do trick or treating with her. Often we get a group of friends together and do trick or treating with her and some friends. So that day will be a little bit shorter for me as well. I will be voting and paying attention to what’s going on in the election for myself. So that’s three weeks I really have to plan for to make sure that my business keeps going.
In over Thanksgiving, I haven’t quite decided yet. I have a family member coming in town for about 10 or 12 days over that Thanksgiving holiday, a little bit before, a little bit after. So I’m not sure what days I’m actually taking off over Thanksgiving.
I think what I might do because we took a trip in October is definitely part of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. But depending on how I’m feeling, I might take the whole week off or because I know the family member’s in town. I know they’ve mentioned wanting to take my daughter to the zoo and do some one-on-one time with her. So she might actually be very well entertained by this family member where I actually might work because we did take the previous holiday in October and also because in December we are taking 12 days, I believe it is to go to Florida and see family there.

So I do have some things where for me, it’s really important to plan the end of the year out. So I’m already having my best year yet again, which I’m really, really grateful for. And I want to keep that going. And I have some big ideas that I want to do either at the end of the year involving my group/mastermind program. And I’m figuring out exactly the promise, the goal this mastermind will attain, how long it’ll be either three or six months, and exactly when I want to launch it. I’ve gotten some requests for that. And I will be raising my one-to-one price sometime in the future as well.
So I’m planning these things and getting coaching. I’m not in a rush for any of them. I really love the structure that I have right now, but it is the next phase of my business and I’m just taking my time to plan them and see how it works out with the holidays. Or I just wait till next year at some point because like I said, I’m going to keep showing up to my business and my priority is my clients that are paying, getting them results. And these changes will come in time. And I just want to do it in a way where everyone feels supported and taken care of.
So I had a free workshop in the beginning of the month of October. So I’m using the rest of the time in October to promote my one-to-one services because I am pushing that 90-day goal of working and onboarding my current clients and my new clients to help them strategize the end of the year for themselves, either rebranding or repackaging new online offers.
I’ve signed several new clients back in August and September where in our first few sessions, all we did was get clarity on their in-person offer, their online offer, how to really talk with people about that, whether they’re inquiring about their services through a DM or in their yoga classes and workshops, that next step to take them to, what to say in consults, the pricing, making sure that they’re confident in that and just taking them through that system and that funnel.
A lot of them have went out and immediately started getting consults and signing clients in that new program and package. So I’m going to be really promoting that, how quickly it is to be signing clients, even if it is the end of the year. I’m also going to be helping clients with implementing their 90-minute-per-week high converting social media strategy so they don’t feel like they have to be on social media all hours of the day, but they can still sign clients from social media and just getting clients consistently, even with a schedule like mine where they may be taking vacations, there are distractions and for me, always going to my house screens.
And then also with clients that are coming in, it’s preparing them for the beginning of the year because when we get momentum at the end of the year, which is why I’m having this blog for you right now is because that momentum will spill over into the New Year where even though that first week ‘til like January 3rd, 4th or 5th, so around that time can feel a little bit slow, but when you have momentum from the end of the year, especially if you hit your goals, got close to your goals, or at least saw progress to your goals, you will feel excited and confident in your plan for the New Year and you’ll just keep going.

So for a lot of my clients, I’m going to be helping them launch and fill their first workshops, work continuing to refine messaging, doing any makeovers to websites or e-mails and also helping them to transition those who want to from in-person to online.
So in the month of October for me, I’m going to be really promoting all this type of work through experimenting with e-mails and reels and social media. For myself, I’m in two masterminds right now, a mastermind for business coaching as well as a mastermind for Instagram and I’ve seen a lot of growth in my Instagram channel. If you don’t follow me there, you can go give me a follow at igniteurwellnessbusiness. You can see if you were to scroll back to my reels from before the summer, I really started implementing this work more towards mid-August.
I had a big Instagram tech challenge that was tech issue. That was the word used by the Facebook team. I’m still working it out with the Instagram team, but despite that tech challenge, so if you’re having some tech issues where Instagram is not liking your account for various reasons, then you can still see growth. I’m still seeing growth where my views are more than doubling where I used to have maybe one post that would get anywhere from like 1,000 to 10,000 views. Now on average, I would say most posts get between one to 3,000 and I’m having posts that’ll get three to five and I’m working towards the average of more posts getting five to 10,000 with definitely more engagement, more saves, more shares, more people reaching out. So that’s really fun to see. I still have some reels that bomb, meaning they just don’t go anywhere, no visibility, no shares, very low engagement, but that’s okay. I’m testing.

How You Can Plan Out The Last 90-Days Of the Year and What Activities You Can Do
The whole point of this in October is I’m going to be testing, testing through my e-mails, these messages, testing through social media, all encouraging people to just, if ready, when ready, feels appropriate to work with me now sooner rather than later. So I’m giving you back end insight, sneak peek into my business only to see how I really apply this information for myself to inspire you to do the same because you can do the same for yourself.
Even if you didn’t do a workshop in the beginning of October or September, you can still create momentum right now or start to plan a workshop for after the election. So not the first week of November, but maybe the second or third week of November in that time before the Thanksgiving holiday. I don’t recommend doing it right before the Thanksgiving holiday. It’s a mistake I see a lot of wellness entrepreneurs make is that they do a workshop, but there’s no follow-up plan for the workshop.
So they just have the workshop and then there are no e-mails supporting their attendees on that next step of working with them, whether it’s in-person or online. And you really want to leave time for that. I’ve made that mistake in the past myself where I’ve had workshops right before I’ve left for vacation and then I don’t have my e-mails planned out for the follow-up and I’m going on vacation so the attendees don’t get that much support. And plus there’s not a lot of room in my schedule for consultations because I am going out of town.

So if you are planning a workshop, just make sure you have time following the workshop to support the audience and promote your services because that’s how you take a workshop from making a couple hundred dollars or $600 to now if you have a $2,000 package, let’s say for example, and you sold three people, that’s how one workshop, whether it be paying or free, how that one workshop now becomes a $6,000 workshop for the same amount of time. And doing that and being streamlined and thinking big picture in your processes and your systems, that’s how you also will prevent kind of hustling and rushing or feeling frantic towards the end of the year to try to hit your goals.
But now if you’re planning it out and thinking about it and percolating now, you can think big picture and plan it out so then you have more space and you don’t have to feel frantic at the end of the year trying to rush to hit your goals and also do all the things that come with the holidays.
So in that November time before Thanksgiving, you can also launch something new. Maybe it’s a new offer or just a mini rebrand of a current offer like I do for my clients that come in that are new and when I onboard them, a lot of them we don’t make huge changes to their existing offers. It’s more like a mini rebrand and just making sure that their pricing and the length of the program especially and the promise feels alignment with them and when it all clicks, that confidence is there and they’ll naturally go out and tell more people about the program and like I said, most people get consults and clients pretty quickly after we do that type of work.
So you might do that work yourself right now in the beginning of November and you can even promote it for Black Friday for Thanksgiving. So also, during the beginning of November, you want to start to think about will you do a Black Friday special or not? You certainly don’t have to.
There’s been many Black Fridays that I haven’t done an offer because here’s the truth: You’re competing with a lot of people on Black Friday. A lot of other e-mails are going out. A lot of other Instagram stories with sales and discounts, there’s a lot of traffic that day but there’s also a lot of people opening their e-mails and prepared for sales and spending money. So you get to decide what’s best for you this year.
I do encourage not discounting your services because I found that often clients will wait for discounts once they buy at a discount. It’s also harder, not that it’s not done, but it can feel harder to sell them into your real price of your program if they do come in at a discount. So often they might wait until the next discount and it kind of trains your audience to wait for discounts if you’re always discounting as your main way you do a special.

So I always ask my clients, what other value can you give? Maybe it’s an extra session. Maybe it’s some of your online portals. Maybe it’s more coaching sessions. What else can you give that creates excitement and urgency about buying now instead of waiting till later that’s not a discount. So I would decide though, one or the other, either do a workshop or launch promote something new or do a Black Friday deal. I definitely wouldn’t do all of them or even two because that’s a lot.
Like I said, with the workshop, the way to really maximize and optimize your workshop is to have that follow-up afterwards. And if you’re also doing a Black Friday, it’s going to feel like it’s competing for your time and energy and focus and what you’re going to write for, like what content are you going to make for the Black Friday deal or for your workshop? Or what are you going to post on what day? The only way that you could really make them work together is if you did a workshop and then part of maybe the special for the attendees of the workshop is also kind of like your Black Friday deal. So then it becomes like the same special. That might be one way to do it. Otherwise you’re going to feel like your marketing’s competing against itself in terms of trying to get in front of your audience.
If you’re considering doing a workshop, make sure you read back into previous blogs where I go over my workshop systems as well as I have many clients’ stories on how they utilize that system themselves and made it their own and were very successful. So get a bunch of different ideas from a variety of perspectives, whether they’re a health coach and online, a yoga teacher, a spiritual coach, physical therapist. There are many different flavors of practitioners in-person and online doing different modalities of work to give you lots of ideas.
So if you’re like, “Alison, I don’t know if I want to do a Black Friday special or a workshop and follow up because I actually want to take the whole week of Thanksgiving off and just relax with my family and we’re traveling.” That’s fine.
For me, planning for all these trips and holidays, what I do and get to know well and I teach my clients this as well is bare minimum systems of knowing exactly what in my business needs to happen to keep my business going, even if I don’t show up. So of course, my client calls need to happen. So I need to make sure that my clients are supported during holidays. Often it’s rescheduling calls or I do a DM check-in before and after or I allow them to reach out to me if they’re getting stuck. And then it’s realizing, okay, I can’t do client calls if I’m taking time off but I can still have consults coming in, I can schedule e-mails and post ahead of time for them to go out.

Yes, reels typically do better when you engage a little bit before posting a reel and engage a little bit after. But there have been times with clients with the testing of my content or if I know I’m doing a sales type content, for example, promoting my workshop or promoting my one-to-one, then I might have another reel later in the day that is I know can be more growth type content. I schedule the second one because I don’t have the luxury of having a VA doing that for me right now.
And I’ve got other work to do other than being on Instagram all day long. And I do find that some of those reels, if they’re done well and speak to my audience, they do better than some of the reels that I posted live manually and have engaged with the audience.
So sometimes it comes down to the content that you’re actually posting when you schedule. So you can schedule ahead of time your whole Black Friday kind of launch sales sequence in your e-mail software and through Instagram and Facebook itself. So that way you can promote your specials, have people booking consultations and reaching out to work with you even though you’re on holiday.
And then when you come back from your break, then reply to messages and get back to people and you’ll get right back into your rhythm faster and quicker than if you just stop everything and then you kind of have to totally restart.
If I don’t have a special going on when I take off of work, whether it’s just for a vacation, then I do the same thing. I schedule my podcasts, I schedule my e-mails and sometimes I take a few days off of Instagram and sometimes I schedule posts. It really just depends on how I’m feeling and how good of a job I do in getting enough content done ahead of time so that I do have it to schedule because I’m not perfect as well.

So all of this, again, it just goes to show you if you plan ahead of time, then you can figure out what type of special you’re going to offer. You can schedule in needed content to help promote it. You can schedule a workshop. You can get the content out to help market that workshop well so you get people in the room and then have the content to follow up so then they are converting to clients afterwards. So it does take some planning and big picture thinking but it also allows you to pace yourself and not feel rushed and frantic.
Okay, so then we got to Thanksgiving and Black Friday here in the States anyways. I know I have some clients in Canada and they celebrate Thanksgiving early and I also have some clients in Australia and their holidays are different as well. So I’m speaking to a lot of people in the States here on this blog, but please use this information to strategize upcoming holidays whenever they are for you no matter where you are in the world.
So here in the States after Thanksgiving, we have another two to three weeks which is a great time again, the beginning of December to have another workshop. I’ve had many workshops that I would say up to about December 15th. December 1st to December 15th is a great time for a workshop or some type of event because then the last two to three weeks at the end of the year, really people are focusing on the holidays.
And again, you can use the same strategy as I highlighted for Thanksgiving where if you do event, you want make sure you have enough time scheduled for the follow-up and it’s not going right into Christmas or your holiday whenever you choose to take off. You make sure things are scheduled out to keep your business going. So you do have momentum when you come into the beginning of the year and you’ll still get people reaching out even if you do take a holiday.
So then you can respond to them when you return or if you have a VA or admin to help with that, that is a great task for them to do depending on when they might take off. And then before you know it, we’ll be at the end of the year holidays and celebrating a new year and setting our goals for 2025.

Conclusion
So I’m wishing you great success, much abundance here at the 90-day, I’m not going to say push the 90-day challenge before the end of the year.
So here’s some key takeaways. Plan, think big picture, give yourself buffer space so you have flexibility and freedom to make changes, all the way up on any type of event or special or promotion, create urgency through your content to help encourage your clients to take action now before the year ends versus waiting. What’s the cost of them waiting? How will it benefit them to take action now versus waiting, for example.
Make sure you’re confident and solid and have good clarity in your offer so then when people do reach out, you know exactly what you’re going to offer them and the next step that they’re going to take. Know the bare minimum systems that you need to implement in your business to keep things moving even if you do take time off.
And how will you handle your business when you do take time off and making sure to follow those boundaries when you do take time off, take time off and rest, you deserve it. And then planning for distractions, like an election, like holidays, where time is just going to go by quickly and get eaten up without you realizing it.
So make sure to overestimate how much time it might take to get one thing done, like an e-mail or your weekly content. So that way, if you do get distracted or your time gets hijacked, you can still complete that because you either gave yourself buffer space or overestimated the amount of time that it would take so then you’re left with more time.
So there’s some ideas to help plan the next 90 days for you so you can end the year, again, hitting your goals or at least getting close to them and seeing progress so you’re also starting 2025 with a ton of momentum.
And if you want to work with me one-to-one and implement this 90-day process together and individually for your business, then just be sure to schedule your consultation with me. And I look forward to all the fun we’re going to have at the end of this year. I’ve got a lot coming up and of course, in 2025.
Okay, bye for now!
