Overcoming Energy and Money Block: An Interview with Energy Healer Gina Giro

Table of Contents

Hey there, wellness entrepreneur! Welcome back!

Today’s episode is a bit unique, and I hope you love it because I’m sitting here after the fact after an interview with energy and money healer, Gina, and we’ll go over exactly what she does, how to bring more abundance into your business and into your personal life as well, but money specifically we’re talking about today.

And she does a special healing intervention with me, and I can tell you I’m sitting here after the interview and my back feels so much better. I feel in alignment. I don’t feel like my normal scoliosis that’s happening when my muscles get tight. I feel equal weight in both my sit bones. So I hope this intrigues you to read the full blog, and it is a little bit vulnerable for me to share because you’ll hear about my own kind of personal blocks and limitations around that intervention that she does for me specifically, so you’ll get to know a little bit more about me.

And I hope you enjoy this and I hope you reach out and follow Gina on Instagram, which is @healwithgina, so you can learn more about her and her services as well. Enjoy this blog, and I’m wishing you much, much, lots of abundance for your wellness of business!

And if you love this episode and it resonates with you and there’s a friend that needs to hear it, please share this blog with them as well. I will so greatly appreciate it.

Alison: Hello there, wellness entrepreneur! Welcome back. Today I’m honored to have on special guest, Gina Giro. Did I get it right?

Gina: Yes, you did.

Alison: Awesome, love it. And she is an energy healer. She helps people reduce energetic blocks so they can create more abundance and money into their life, which we’re in business to help people and we still have to pay the expenses and fill our own cups as well. So I just love this.

Question to Gina: So tell us a little bit specifically about what you do and who you help.

Gina: Well, I really love to work with spiritual women and the healer type, because I mean, that’s right. That’s what I am and that’s where I came from. And I had so many blocks about getting paid for my gifts and just beliefs and programs about like, “If the gift was given to me, shouldn’t I give it away for free?” You know, just things like that. I just felt so incredibly guilty. Like I turned away tips as a massage therapist.

Alison: Okay, so you were a massage therapist first?

Gina: I used to be through just manifestation and how the universe works, I no longer am. I wanted to get out of it and I wanted to be full-time energy healing. And I just, do you know that thing where you won’t let yourself make the leap to the other thing and let it go so the universe like takes it from you? Usually, I got full body eczema from the neck down. So thank God! It was everywhere but my back, which I couldn’t reach and my face and my hands. I mean, they were open sores for like a year and a half. Like, I wanted to let it go. I mean, it was painful. It also felt like the spiritual initiation sort of into the kind of energy healing that I do. I don’t know that it was, but it kind of felt like it was the timing of it. But I mean, it really was like, I knew it was time to let it go, but I wouldn’t let it go. So anyway, I just had a lot and just fear of like a career change.

What will I do?

Who would pay me for energy healing when I could give them a massage?

Who would do that?

And now my prices for energy healing are twice as much as what I use to charge for a massage.

Question to Gina: So what do you see as an energy healer now that’s helping people release their blocks around money? What are the common struggles that you see an entrepreneur that has blocks with their money? Maybe they don’t recognize it yet, but what do you see coming up for them where you know like, oh, okay, I can help this person because they’re struggling with this?

Gina: Well, sometimes it’s undercharging or just not charging the going rate. That’s how you know when you’re undercharging. It’s just not the industry standard. There’s that. And then what it comes down to for every problem that any of us will ever have is our subconscious programming. So we were all programmed, like you came into the earth, a complete blank slate. As a baby, you know absolutely nothing. And then what we’re surrounded by the first seven years of our life, we don’t have a consciousness the first seven years. We’re a walking open subconscious mind. So whatever is in our environment, we just take in as truth.

So if our parents are really, really resourced and they have enough money for everything and we’re not really told no, we can just have what we want, then we probably don’t build up a lot of blocks to saying that we can’t have what we want or having the things that we want. There’s probably not a lot of blocks there.

But if you grew up in a house where there was fighting over money, thoughts and sayings of like, money doesn’t grow on trees and we have to wait till the 15th, wait until the credit card bills are paid, whatever that is, then you grow up with that experience. And then that most likely becomes your reality unless you do some work.

Must Read: How to experience precious moments, instead of letting them just pass by…

Alison: Yeah, yeah. One of mine is like you have to work hard to earn your money. Physically, like, because as a massage therapist too, like physically, do a lot of massages and teach a lot of yoga and do a lot of body work. And then I’m worth the money I get.

Gina:  Yeah, you know what? It’s funny. I was thinking the other day, I worked at a spa where we did ear candling. And the first time the woman who owned the spa, she did ear candling for somebody in one room and then ear candling for someone else in the other room. She had two things going at once. The audience probably knows what that is. So you don’t need your hands for that. There’s nothing wrong with that.

And I was like enraged. She was double dipping. You’re not giving all of your attention to one person. Like how can you do that? You’re just grabbing money. It’s like, all I need to do is cut. I mean, I was, I reacted, and all of that is a projection of my beliefs and programs onto her. And it’s like that, and a lot of clinics, chiropractic clinics, like acupuncture, go to wind up in this. You’re all in the same place. They’re not, yeah, acupuncture too. My acupuncture, she has two or three rooms and we’re all going at the same time.

And I always think back, I’m like, if I knew now what I knew then as a massage therapist, like I could have cleaned up, but I just didn’t.

Question to Gina: So what’s the process for someone to release these blocks?

Gina: Well, we’re going to do a little sample on you so people can get an idea of it. Cause it’s, I could explain it all day, but with energy healing, especially the kind that I do, which is the emotion code, the body code and the belief code and a couple other modalities that I probably won’t do here. It’s very experiential. So we’ll do a sample energy healing for you, but it’s about going into the subconscious mind, which has a blueprint. It knows you, it knows everything about you. It knows what’s inside your body. It knows what experiences you’ve had in this lifetime.

And then I don’t know if your audience is about this, but past lives for those who believe in that. So it knows that so we can do past life healing too. Sometimes we have these blocks and programs. The family we were born into and those early experiences, but sometimes it’s from a past life as well.

So we decode it. We identify what emotions are causing this money block or in that situation it would, is there something causing you to be enraged that this woman is serving two people at once? And then I would go in and find the unworthiness or jealousy or whatever emotions trapped within me that are causing me to be triggered. Triggers are there to show us what needs to be healed. So they’re really a gift.

Alison: I love that. Can you say that again? That was beautiful. The triggers are there, that phrase, say that again.

Gina: Triggers are there to show you what needs to be healed.

Question to Gina: And so how would you recognize a trigger? For example, for me, I know I’m triggered if I freeze or I have a whole bunch of thoughts going on in my conscious mind, but they’re not actually able to come out of my mouth and I know I’m triggered.

Gina: It takes a lot of awareness. So like awareness is the first piece of just about anything when it comes to self- discovery, just becoming aware of it. I mean, when we’re knocked out of our center, when we’re unbalanced, like when we’re having a visceral reaction to something, like that’s not that big of a deal, but it is to us that you dare try to treat two people at one time, just going back to my example, that’s clearly a trigger. That’s not a big deal. And I feel a lot about it. So that tells me something’s there. Because it’s working me off my center.

Alison: Touched a button.

Gina: Exactly. I feel a lot about this. So that’s where we can tell that we’re triggered, how we feel, it goes back to the emotions.

Alison: And so then, when you’re aware of the trigger and you’re like, “Okay, well, I’m noticing this.” For example, on consultations, for many of my entrepreneurs, they might get triggered in different ways, like on a consultation when someone says, “You know, I don’t have the budget for this right now,” even though they scheduled a consultation call, so they were prepared to pay something. You know? No one shows up to a car lot or schedules a call and blocks time off of their day if they’re not interested and prepared to possibly spend something.

People Also Read: Jess Spinner’s Journey to Workshop Mastery and Business Growth

But yet the entrepreneur might not, they will, either flee, like get off the call, say, “Oh, okay, no problem.” They’ll fight, maybe they get angry, fawn, people please, they can go through, or freeze, like, which is typically my response, any of the kind of nervous system response.

So when they become aware of that and they’re like, oh, okay, if someone has their own money stuff, they bring to a call and it triggers my money stuff, like, that’s the work you do in sessions with people to heal that, so then they can show up without being triggered and actually like continue with questioning on the call, for example.

Gina: Exactly, like I would ask a question, is something causing you to feel triggered on the sales calls, or is something causing you to attract people who can’t afford your services?

Alison: Ooh, that’s a good one.

Gina: Oh, I just got chills, actually, that’s a good one. I just made that up. So we would want to go in and like really find out like what’s causing that, because everything is energy! Everything.

Even like this desk looks and sounds solid, but if we measured it under a microscope that was strong enough, we would see that it’s not solid. It’s not solid, it’s mostly space. It’s 99.9999999% space.

Question to Gina: So tell me more about this, with the energetics and healing the blocks and shifting the energy. So how does it actually work in real life and practicality?

Gina:  What do you mean, like how the energy healing goes or the results? Should we just get into it?

Alison: Yeah, either and or.

Gina: Yeah, because like I said, like it’s explaining, but like to watch it go down or to experience it yourself is.

Alison: Okay, maybe we just need to do it.

Gina: Yeah, so is there something specific with your money or business that you feel triggered by or just that you want to work on? And I do want to say too, you don’t always need a problem for energy healing. Maybe everything’s great and you just want more growth.

Alison: Yeah, I think that’s it. Let’s do it. Yeah, that’s it.

Gina: Okay, and would this be for the blog, for your clients? Like, can we get a little specific?

Alison: Tell me more.

Gina: Is there something like, what’s something that you’re working on where you’re like, this number needs to grow? The downloads?

Alison: Either one.

Gina: Okay, so I’m just going to say a little prayer and get connected to your subconscious mind. And we’ll just kind of like see what’s on the surface ready to be worked on. I asked for a direct connection to source consciousness and to receive all answers through this channel. I ask that my channels of intuition are open and that this healing be for Alison’s highest truth and good and that her processing during and after the session is easy, gentle and effective. Place Alison in a healing container, surround her with love, light and truth and bring forth the answers for the highest good of all involved. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

All right, am I testing for Alison and is my testing 100% accurate? Yeah.

So I’m asking these questions out loud so that you can follow along, but you’re doing great because you don’t answer me. I’m already getting the answers from your subconscious mind. You’re already doing it.

Let me ask this, does Alison have a money wall?

You don’t, that’s great! It’s like an energetic barrier where money can’t come in or if you have a heart wall, it’s a subconscious energetic wall around the heart where love can’t come in. You can’t feel, it’s like you see people in love and it’s like, I don’t get this feeling that everybody’s so happy about, I don’t feel that. So that’s the symptom of a heart wall.

Money wall is just like, you just aren’t making money. There’s other barriers like a money ceiling where it’s like, “I can make up to this point, but I can’t make over that,” right? That’s like a ceiling kind of a barrier.

So let me ask this. Where, what in Alison’s business needs the most, what could we heal that would benefit Alison the most?

Sometimes it’s about finding the right question. Is it the podcast? Yeah, okay. Is it around the audience, growing audience? It’s not that.

Downloads, shares. Would you like people to be sharing more?

Alison: Ooh, that would be nice, sure.

Gina: Okay, so prompt. Everyone share this episode with a friend.  By the way, do you ask for people to share? Like, do you ask them?

Alison: Now that you say that, I’m not that good about that. So I could be better.

Gina: Yeah, and there’s this thing where it’s like, ask the person who can actually give you what –  this is more with manifesting, I do that too. Ask the person who can give you what you want, ask them for what you want. You know, instead of like talking to our friends, “Well, I wish somebody would share. I just, they’re not sharing.” And it’s like, well, ask the person who you want to share to share. That’s in your instance.

Sometimes people like, they want more money and it’s like, “Well, have you asked the people who pay you for more?” That’s the person to talk to, not like your husband.

So, okay. So is there a block to asking people to share the podcast episodes? Okay. There’s a belief here, an unconscious belief that’s in the root chakra. So I know everybody knows, but the root chakra is about security, safety, support and survival. So let me find out what is this belief.

Okay, so this is great.

So I can explain something. The belief or the statement that’s stuck in your mind, the program is, “I’m always the last.” And do you, okay, so there’s our conscious mind who’s like, “Yep, I know that. I always think that. I am always last actually.” That’s the part of us that’s like aware, but unconscious is like, we’re not aware of it, right? That’s why it’s unconscious. So conscious is aware of what’s going on. The unconscious isn’t. Do you resonate with this? “I’m always the last.”

Alison: Yeah, because I think that’s like, you know that saying, what is the saying? Compare and despair. So typically, like I can stay in my own lane and do my work and my competitors or people doing similar work as me, it doesn’t really bother me or faze me. But sometimes it does when, if I’m in kind of a vulnerable mindset or maybe more tired or having a rough day or in a funk in my business or feel stuck in my business, then I might see someone doing similar work and maybe they’re like taken off and doing well, or they have a similar offer to mine and I’m like, “Oh yeah, of course, they’re gonna be taken off,” and I’m gonna be like, I have this image of me, like me left in the dust.

Gina: Yeah, okay. And like, that’s also almost a trigger to that and then you feel like, oh my God.

Alison: Scarcity mindset and that’ll trigger like hustle when there’s like, it doesn’t, they’re doing their thing and I’m doing my thing.

Gina: Your business was fine five minutes ago. And now it’s despair. So are there any associated imbalances? No, okay. So we’re gonna release this, release the belief, I’m always last and dissolve and transmute this energy into light.

Okay. Are there any trapped emotions blocking you from asking people to share podcast episodes?

Okay, do we need to know more about this? It’s frustration. And I’m gonna tell you what age this was trapped. Was this trapped before age 20? Was it before age 15? Okay, so this frustration was at age 16. So I imagine that’s around sophomore year of high school around, do we need to know more about frustration?

Okay, so I’m gonna read the definition and we’ll just see if anything comes to mind. So think about that time of your life, age 16. Frustration, feeling exasperated, harassed or vexed, feeling stuck or unable to progress, blocked from causing a change or achieving a goal.

Alison:  Yeah, I was a diver at that time, springboard diver. And one of my teammates was amazing and really sweet soul and she just had this like really natural talent. So I should have been happy at the time because in I think all of our meets, she came in first and I came in second. We were like undefeated, but it was always like she came in first and I came in second. And I was like, “What? I can never break past that.”

Gina: I have chills. Remember the last statement, I’m always last.

Alison: Did I just say it?

Gina: But like that’s where these things come from.

Alison: Right, totally.

Gina: So we think it’s about like the other woman building their business, but it goes back to like, and I bet that probably wasn’t even the first experience.

Alison: Yeah, maybe not.

Gina: Probably something else happened.

Alison: Because I can remember too, I have a sister and she’s actually younger than me. She’s two years younger than me, two and a half years younger than me, but she’s much more athletic than me and even taller than me. And so we would go on runs with our dad at a young age and I would always be last. Cause like I had asthma, my body is just not made for running. I’m like, I’m the only one, I should be running fast whenever could I do it.

Gina: Absolutely. So most likely like that’s how that got set up, that program. And cause how many times did you probably say that? Not thinking.

Alison: Oh gosh. Anytime we went for a run, which was like, you know, consistently.

Gina: Yeah. Like where’s Alison? Oh, she’s like, it’s just becomes this known thing. And then sometimes that becomes our identity, because it’s like, “Where’s Alison? Oh, she’s last. She’ll be coming.” It’s just, you know, then the family.

Alison: She’s got issues. She’s hung up.

Gina: No, it’s just, she’s not a runner.

All right. So we’re going to release frustration and dissolve and transmute that energy into light. Is frustration released? Yes. So I always double check afterwards and make sure that the emotion release 99% of the time it does, but sometimes it doesn’t. And there’s something else associated to the situation. Okay.

Is there anything, are there any other emotions we can release to help Alison get her episodes shared? Yes. Is this emotion code? Oh, body code.

So we’re doing a little bit of everything here. Is this on the left? Okay. It’s an energy of some kind. I knew it was going to be this. Okay. It’s an offensive energy. This should not freak me out at this point, but I never know. Like, I don’t want to scare people, obviously. And I used to be like, what? So it’s an entity. And an entity is like a spiritual being without a body that can create various problems. They can be mild to very irritating.

Alison: They can havoc.

Gina: Yeah, they really can. And they contribute to, tell me if you have any of these symptoms coming up. Fatigue, physical discomfort, negativity, mood issues, feeling like something’s there that doesn’t belong, feeling stuck, self-sabotage, self-doubt, feeling conflict or resistance, nightmares, mental illness symptoms, and self-doubt. If I didn’t say that one.

Alison: Yeah. And there’s definitely a few of those.

Gina: Now, I just want to say too, like pretty much everybody has entities. They’re just energy. Like, you know, it’s really nothing to be too afraid of. Although for the most part, there’s really nothing to be afraid of. For the most part. Here there’s not, but like, I have seen things where it’s like, I’ve had like clients where like a priest came over to their, I did an energy clearing and identified a lot. And then eventually they had a priest come over and do like a seance because she bought a house that it turned, I hope I can like, okay, a famous mass shooter had lived in this house. She bought the house, but I didn’t know that. I was just like, wow, I’m finding this and this and this. And she said, “Okay, I didn’t want to tell you this.” They didn’t have to disclose it because the shooting didn’t happen on the property. It happened in a public place.

Alison: Oh, wow.

Gina: I mean, I have chills actually as I’m remembering this. So I didn’t know any of that, but anyway, so all this stuff came up because with energy clearing, you can clear spaces too. And like clear and clean and heal anything. So this started this whole thing. And she went to a church and had a priest come over and like no problem since. Her business is thriving. I found it because I was like, have you noticed that ever since you moved into this dream home, like your husband lost his job. Your clients, the kids aren’t getting great, great. Yeah, exactly. It hasn’t been so dreamy. So anyway, back to the entity.

Must Read: Exploring My 2023 Journey: Health, Wealth, and Wisdom

Is there an associated imbalance? Is it offensive? Yes. Okay. So generally entities come with negative energies and this one is a curse.

And a curse, okay, think about when you curse at someone, like you cuss someone out. We’re throwing, our words have so much power if people only like knew and realized and like respected, you know, the energy of our words. But when you curse someone out or cuss at them, you are essentially sending them strong negative energy. So just think of it like that. It’s not like somebody gathered around and like got a voodoo doll and like put a curse on you. 99% of the time, that’s not what happened. I’m not saying it doesn’t happen.

So do we need to know more about this curse? We do. So when was the age of the occurrence? Was it before 15? Was it before 10, 11? So this has been with you since age 12.

What’s the intention? Is it to create a physical symptom? It is.

Do you have any like back symptoms, symptoms of like back pain or something in your back?

Alison: Yeah, I have a history of disc herniations and actually disc tears. So I get sciatica every so often.

Gina: Oh my goodness. That is what the curse is about, to create a physical symptom. And I could like see and feel energy around your back. And that’s why I asked if you had pain there.

All right, so we’re gonna release this.

Alison: Okay, that would be lovely. For the most part, I like manage it with all my stuff, but I have to do a lot of stuff to manage it.

Gina:  Wouldn’t it be great if you could just release the energy that’s causing it in the first place?

Alison: Yeah, 100%.

Gina: Okay, there’s one more associated imbalance. It’s also offensive and it’s just another entity.

So we’re gonna release all of this now. Sometimes I just release entities, but lately I feel more comfortable. Like I just kind of hang back and I ask God if people are okay with that word, God, source consciousness, whatever. So I’m gonna do it that way.

So I just ask God to release these entities from your body and your energy field, release the negative energy from the curse from your back, from your entire body and dissolve and transmute this energy into the light through all time, space, dimension and reality.

Are the entities released and is the curse released? Yeah, okay, that’s all clear.

So let’s see, I just wanna ask one more time. Is there anything else that can be released to help Alison have her podcast episodes shared? That particular area, like I wouldn’t say the whole business and everything about the money, but like that is.

Alison: I love it. I’ll have to tell you, I do feel that I was, so I have scoliosis. So I felt like I was sitting, I was feeling my back, but now I feel more solid and I feel equal weight in both my ischial tuberosities, my sit bones.

Gina: That makes me so happy, yeah.

Alison: My shoulders feel more balanced.

Gina: Well, after I found that stuff in the house, my client’s husband was like, who, what does that, like I need to see this person. Cause he was like, or she can find that without knowing anything, like I wanna talk to her. And I released some grief and other emotions through out of his fascia, out of the connective tissue. And he texts me the next day and he said, I’ve had back pain for 20 years and it’s gone.

Alison: Wow.

Gina: And he texts me two weeks later, like I still don’t, the pain has not come back, like it’s gone. Yeah, so energy, because when we get a trapped energy in our body, it distorts the tissues of our physical body. So if you get a lot of trapped emotions in the neck and shoulders or heart wall there, that’s distorting this area, then yeah, you’re gonna get physical pain. And it’s like, I think about how many people could avoid surgery if they just tried energy healing first, like just try it. If it doesn’t work, that surgeon is always gonna be there.

But so much can get healed and released and the relief that we’re looking for, like most people aren’t looking for perfection. We just want things to be better and to not be in pain or have more money coming in.

Alison: Yeah, I love this. So if people are like, “Wow, I need this,” where can they find you?

Gina: On Instagram, my handle is HealwithGina.

Alison: Awesome!

Gina: That’s right.

Alison: Awesome, love it. Cool, I love this so much. Thank you so much. I really do feel like I am sitting taller and both my shoulders are more level and I feel more solid in my chair here. So much better, thank you so much. I really do appreciate that and your time and your energy of showing up.

Question to Gina: Are there any parting words of wisdom that you would like to share with these inspiring entrepreneurs listening here today?

Gina: I just wanna say that what we do for the world, helping people feel better, the amount of hours, the money we put into getting this education is really, really important and we need to be highly compensated for it because if we’re not feeling our best, how can we help other people feel our best?

Like the healer needs to stay well and happy, not in survival mode and not wondering where the next paycheck or the next client is coming from. Like you, I think it’s important. I even have chills as I’m saying this for the first time, but it’s important that we are not, like that we’re thriving and happy and taken care of and like that our lives are going well because we give a lot.

Alison:  Yeah, 100%! Music to my ears, I love it. Well, thank you so much for your time and showing up, it’s been an honor to have you here.

Gina: Thank you, Alison. And I think the moral too is like, if you feel like you’re hit, if you feel stuck, if you’re hitting a brick road, like keep going, reach out for help and keep going because the help is there for you and people need your work.

I do wanna say one more thing, desire. So if you have a desire, like for more money or it’s not even about the money, it’s what you’re gonna do with the money, right? Like build out the extra room on your house or how you’re gonna help and the other certifications you wanna get, all that stuff. If you have a desire, desire at the Latin root means de sire, which means of the father, which means God, higher power, whatever, gave you the desire in the first place and you’re meant to pursue it.

It’s nothing to feel guilty about, it’s nothing, it’s just between you and God, your desires are for you and they’re really meant to be pursued. And so if you have a desire, like, and you make a decision to really pursue it, the universe will conspire to make it happen and you’ll be given all the healers and the resources and the steps along the way. And so just like, don’t listen to naysayers who say it won’t work, it’s not possible because if it’s in your heart, it’s there for a reason and it is possible. Like it’s 2024, everything is possible.

Alison: Yeah, I love this. Thank you so much.

Gina: Thank you for having me.

Hi, I'm Dr. Alison McLean, DPT

I believe wellness practitioners deserve to live the freedom they teach.

Not someday. Not after one more certification or one more full caseload. Now. We entered this work to help people heal — and somewhere along the way, we became the most burned out people in the room. Seeing clients back to back, skipping meals, missing family moments, quietly wondering if this is as good as it gets. What they didn't teach us in school is that the business model we inherited was never designed to give us freedom. It was designed to keep us busy. There's a version of your practice that doesn't require your sacrifice as the cost of admission. One where your income isn't capped by your calendar, your clients get your best, and you actually have a life outside the treatment room.

That's the world I'm building — and I'd love to help you build it too.
