Hey there, wellness entrepreneur!
Before we get to this week’s blog, I want to make sure you know about a two-hour live workshop I have coming up. It’s Two Hours To Workshop With Me For $15 and here’s what we’re going to do: Just a few blogs ago, I told you the Five Steps To Create Six-Figure Regeneration Workshops and that can be your system that you refine and rinse and repeat to six-figure wellness business.
In this Two-Hour Workshop With Me Live, we are going to workshop your workshop system. So yes, that’s right! It’s the Workshop To Workshop Your Workshop System. I get a kick out of saying that every single time, but I’m super excited about it because I’ve taken a lot of clients through the system myself. I’ve used this system for years and it’s what has created two six-figure plus businesses for me and it can be your six-figure system to sell out your workshops so you can create your online six-figure.
So when you come to this workshop live, if you have a workshop that you want to create but you’re struggling to get a topic that you feel is compelling and popular and people will really want, and then creating a headline for that or you’re getting stuck in the messaging or you don’t know where to market it or what to say to get people to join, or maybe you’ve taught workshops and you have no problem getting people in the room but you’re having trouble converting to consultations at the end, then this is the place to come and we’re going to workshop all of this out so you can get your personal questions answered by me, so then you can just go out and teach your next workshop, feel confident about it, be more efficient in your time, so you can teach it, get your clients, help more people, help them get more results in that workshop, get excited about working with you in your next wellness program, your high ticket wellness offer, then you have more free time to spend with your family and just live your life.
So I’ll see you there! Two hours, $15! The link is <LINK> to get registered. Of course, there’ll be a replay if you can’t show up live. If you want to workshop anything but can’t show up live, then you can just send it to me ahead of time. I’ll make sure to answer it live.

Hey there wellness entrepreneur! Welcome back!
The past few blogs, we’ve been talking a lot about strategy, which you need. So, get to it, just start to make some small steps which will lead to bigger changes in your business.
And truthfully, what is the fuel behind implementing any of that strategy both in being able to consistently show up and how you’re showing up, how you actually implement a lot of that strategy such as doing six-figure lead generating workshops, or converting more on consults, or selling more of your ethical high-ticket wellness offer, and that is mindset.
And today, specifically, we’re going over How To Cultivate More Belief In Yourself And In Your Business, how to create unwavering faith, also you can leap before you’re ready and this might lead you to taking big actions and making big changes in your business or it just might help you to continue to take small steps and make small change and showing up more consistently, because you don’t need to take huge action and make huge changes. You can do it in small increments that still feel a little bit edgy, but those small increments will actually lead to big changes.

What Do I mean With Leaping Before You’re Ready
Specifically, what am I talking about here, leaping before you’re ready or creating faith and belief before you’re ready, that means starting the work instead of investing in a coach.
Actually launching that program that you’ve been thinking of whether it’s in-person or online, working with clients or a specific niche that you’ve been thinking about, actually getting out there and doing it, versus hypothetically, tweaking and tinkering around with things in the background and not actually doing the work with clients, getting them into your program, or doing the work with the practitioner where you’re actually becoming aware of your growth edges and then making changes in your business or your personal life, so you can you move to that next evolution of yourself or your personal life or your business that you really see that’s possible for yourself. Or maybe it’s even with a practitioner creating that possibility, maybe you might feel stuck and you don’t even know what is possible for you.

What Not Taking A Leap And Waiting To Be Fully Ready Looks Like
And so how do you know if you’re not taking the leap and you’re actually waiting to be fully ready? What that actually looks like is you have a full-time or a part-time job and you’re comfortable with the revenue but your heart’s not in it and you really want to help more wellness clients in a very particular way online, but when you sit down to work in your business, you do things that feel safe.
So for example, you might tinker around on your website, you might build out a funnel, you might build out an online program, but you’re not actually doing the vulnerable work of talking with people and promoting your online program, or you’re not actually getting clients in the door and practicing consults. You’re not actually working with clients or maybe you have a few clients, but you’re not actively promoting yourself or doing things where you could be more visible, or maybe, your wellness business is your side gig. You’re doing it while your kids are in school and you only have a certain amount of time, maybe from like 9 to 2 or 10 to 2 or something like that, and it’s only a few hours a week or you think, “It’s only a few hours a week, it’s not a real business.”

The Importance Of Believing In Yourself and in Your Business
It is a real business. And here’s the truth, if you’re spending 10,20 hours a week in your business, that’s 10 to 20 hours a week of your life. Don’t you want to make the maximum impact that you could?
Imagine if you had a very successful wellness business, how you could be an inspiration for your children or at least go spend 10 to 20 hours of your life doing something else that’s meaningful to you.
That’s not to say if you are feeling fulfilled working with wellness clients at your price point or that you want to do pro bono work, but I’m saying, if you are actively in your heart, desiring to have a wellness business and help clients in a way that you really have it envisioned, or you want to create an online program that creates more freedom and more flexibility so you’re not going through the grind of client after client, back to back to back all day to get to the point where you do have a business that creates the revenue that you truly desire within the working hours, within that those hours where your children is/are in school, you have to believe so strongly. You have to believe in that possibility to create that revenue.
Now, you can’t wait and say, “Oh if I get a client or when I have five clients or when I have ten clients, then I’ll believe.” You have to believe first and that is taking the leap when you’re ready and before you’re ready.

Making Sacrifices, Mindset and Belief Work Means Taking The Leap for Your Real Business
When you do this, what happens is, when your kids say they need money or time from you to do this and you really had that money allocated for something, for you in your personal life or your business, or you had time boundaries where you were committed to working with a client or working in your business, you will say no to them and you will give other opportunities to help them in a different way, or you can create a learning opportunity for them, telling them the benefit of believing, the benefit of putting your goals and not just wavering.
I’m sorry, that might be harsh, but it’s the truth, and it doesn’t mean that you love your children any less or your partner any less. Let’s talk about what that actually looks like logistically. It means that you set aside to maybe have a client call or work on creating some e-mail content or social media content from the hours of three to four and your child asks you to take them to a friend’s house at that time or you have an investment that you have planned to work with a coach or buy a program and your family says that they want to go on vacation and you pull that money from your business account and put it into your personal account.
There will be times that you want to do this and say yes to your family and say yes to those personal times, and there be times where the right thing to do is to say no and figure out another strategy on how to help them or create more money in your business, so you can both invest in that online program and go on that vacation.

Or let’s say you were to go work on your business and you’ve planned aside a whole day to work on your business the whole day while your children are at school and your partner asks you to run a few errands or help them in certain areas and you feel obligated to do that because they are the primary breadwinners, so you feel that you must sacrifice your business to help them because your business isn’t completely legit because you haven’t brought in a paycheck yet.
But the way to bring in more money is you have to commit, you have to show up consistently day after day after day, withholding the time that you say that you’re going to work in your business.
And I don’t mean like a robot. So I don’t mean if your child calls home sick and you need to be with them. Or you yourself are sick, there are certain times, right? You want to be flexible! I’m not saying to be rigid here, but most of the time you want to show up consistently and lean into those growth edges and that is how you will create a real business.
But it takes doing the belief and the mindset work and the faith work ahead of time instead of waiting for the results to happen of clients actually coming in. To create that believe, sometimes you have it backwards.

The Hesitation With Doing The Belief Work First
Often the hesitation with doing the belief work first is the feeling that you might fail, right? You’re going to go all in on your business and it won’t work out and then maybe your partner will be mad at you because now you’ve spent a lot of time, invest in money, investing in your business, and you don’t have a business to show for it, or your children might get mad and resentful if you’ve had to say no to them.
And again, I get! it It’s hard! I’ve been a kid where both my parents were entrepreneurs and there was time in my youth where they both weren’t around a lot and my sister and I really had to learn how to fend for ourselves in a lot of ways.
And so again, I’m not saying to overwork here. I’m saying work within the ideal hours that you envisioned for yourself when you first started dreaming of that wellness business, during the times when your children are in school for example.

The Truth in Your Wellness Business
Here’s the truth in your wellness business. So there are going to be failures. There are going to be disappointments. You are going to invest money. You are going to invest time ahead and the results might be delayed, but here’s also the truth: if you keep going, if you keep showing up consistently, you can’t fail! You can never! Your business will never be a failure unless you decide to quit.
So if you keep going, at some point you will succeed, and how do I know? Because I’ve personally done it so many times. I’ve had to invest time, I’ve had to invest money before I was ready, before I literally had money in the bank to do that, but I believed in so strongly that the work I needed to do, needed to get out there in the world, I wanted to help wellness entrepreneurs in a way I wasn’t seeing being done before.

I saw a lot of hustle culture. I saw in the physical therapy world. I saw a lot of overworking tired professors with lots of alphabet letters behind their name, burn out, tired, sick, promoting overworking and studying through school and then that patterns repeated out in the clinic of hustle, hustle, hustle. More patients, more patients, more patients.
I see it in massage clinics. I see yoga teachers driving from studio to studio to studio, 15 classes a week or more. It’s just not sustainable and here is the big problem with all of this: we’re promoting wellness, but you’re not living it.

What Pushed Me To Transition and Take A Leap
So it became my passion especially when I had my cancer diagnosis and my Lynch syndrome diagnosis to show that it could be done a different way. I feel so strongly about it and when I made the transition, yes, I was getting business coaching requests, but I still had to take the leap and decide, “Okay. I’m actively going to promote business coaching now.” Do you know how scary that was when I had a successful brick-and-mortar clinic to actually say, “Okay, I’m only one person, I can only market so many things at one time, I’m going to go all in on business coaching, and I’m going to stop the marketing of my brick-and-mortar and go all in on the business coaching.”
Do you know how scary it was to let go of all my yoga classes and my weekend workshops and my weekend trainings and go all in on doing things online and not on the weekends without a proven recipe to know that it would be successful?
The Proven Recipe To My Success And The Result Of Taking A Leap
The proven recipe was the belief down in my soul. The recipe that I had was watching a mentor teach on weekends and evenings workshops and trainings and see her burnout, see her sons get mad at her because she was never there for them and they were with nannies 100%, or I shouldn’t say 100%, it wasn’t 100% at all, but a good percentage of the time and she was a great mom and her sons loved her and she wanted to be with them and her heart was torn because she felt like she had to say yes to all these things, going on in her business and I saw her create success in her wellness business doing it that way.

When I decided to do it differently, I didn’t have a mentor doing it differently in the wellness and the business coaching world. I had to create that for myself and the result of taking the leap before I was ready, taking the leap before I actually had proof that it would be successful, the result of doing that is now having a business of my dream, my health has changed, I have so much more energy, I have so much more free time.
Last year I took off I think close to eight weeks. I hit the biggest revenue that I have ever hit yet I could have never done that as a salary PT. I would never hit that revenue. I would never be able to take close to eight weeks off as a salary PT job, and plus, I only worked with the number of clients that I wanted to work with. I didn’t have to over book myself, I didn’t have to massage my jaw at the end of the day just so I could talk to my husband and my daughter. I felt I had gas in my gas tank still when I got home and I could hang out with them and have dinner with them.
My daughter and I, we went on so many bonding trips just the two of us and we did a lot with Sean, the three of us, so we have so many memories from the last few years because I took the leap and I just started the work based off of belief that I could make it happen, that it could be a success if I just kept going and you can do it too. You have to do it first though!

The Belief Scale and The Evidence List
That’s why one of the first things I teach some of my new clients coming into the 100k Awaken Business Coaching Program is both the belief scale and the evidence list, where they learn how to create that belief through actually seeing evidence themselves and they’re able to rank themselves on a scale day-to-day, and determine the mindset gaps that’s holding them back from creating that belief deep down in their body, deep down in their bones.
My client Joe, he was just on the podcast. In fact, you could go listen to it. It’s episode 228 where he speaks about having unwavering belief and I love the analogy he used in that episode of taking the step before you actually see the rock and if you’re floating out in the ether and how you have to actually take that step and then when you’re taking the step, your foot is in air, that is when the rock appears.
The same is true if you want to create that wellness business of your dream and yes, it might lead to some uncomfortable conversations with your partner or with your children or with your friends especially if you’re hearing from friends or loved ones that you care about, some criticisms here or there and you take it to heart and that keeps you playing small. You might need to stand up for yourself. I can’t tell you the amount of personal evolution I’ve gone through being a business owner. It’s such a reflection sometimes too when I’m working through certain growth edges in my business, then I see those same growth edges in my personal life as well and it’s that saying of how you live one area of your life is how you live all areas.
It’s so true, that entrepreneurship is really the best path for self-evolution and self-growth and the amazing part about that is when you grow yourself, then you do create that business of your dreams and when you have a successful wellness business, the only way you can have success by helping more people, so that means when you have a successful wellness business, you’ve also helped a lot of people with their wellness.
The Real Problem of Staying Small and Playing it Safe
Here’s the real problem though of you staying small and playing it safe and waiting to see results before you fully believe. The real problem is your clients are doing it, too. Think about those clients that tell you that they want to work with you, but then they price shop around or they say yes to your program and they actually pay and at first, they start off coming to calls regularly and consistently, once a week and then they start saying, “Oh, it’s so much information. Can we spread the calls out?” Or, “I’m really busy, can we meet once a month,” or they come to your consultation calls and they say they’re a yes and there you’re all ready to start and then they back out of the program.
Your clients are lacking belief in themselves. It might be that they don’t believe that their body can heal or maybe they don’t believe quite yet in the modalities that you’re using. Maybe they don’t realize that their health can change even though they have certain genetic profiles, or they might think that something is wrong with them, that they’re flawed in some way that will actually prevent them from achieving their ideal wellness, so then they play small, they don’t invest and believe ahead of time, they don’t commit and show up consistently, they don’t pay to work with you, they don’t go all in in your program and it’s okay! They’re human and that’s why it’s so important for you to go first.

What Happens When You Show Up With Confidence and Belief in Yourself and in Your Business
Imagine being on a consultation call and you’re able to tell them when you sense their fear, you sense their hesitation, they tell you that they’ve tried numerous practitioners before and it hasn’t worked for them and they’re scared to invest time and money. Again, you can say, “I get it. I know you’re scared. I’ve been there, too. I’ve invested in coaching programs that haven’t worked before and I had to get in the ring and invest again. I’ve invested time with no payoff at first, but then I started to see change. I created belief in myself that I could do it, and whether that’s with your health or with your business, if you do it in one area, you can do it in another, and I went all in on myself and I got this result.”
Imagine saying that! With so much confidence and showing up, you will be the light for them. You will be hope for them! They will be able to borrow your belief until they learn how to create the beliefs for themselves, and that’s how you will get more clients. That’s how people will be attracted to you and when you have that belief for yourself, you will start showing up in a bigger way.
So those criticisms from those loved ones or people in your audience, well, they will happen less if you’re growing more visible on Instagram for example, or YouTube. Actually, the criticisms might happen more but they’re typically from strangers. But from the people you care about, they will see you showing up in a different way. I can’t tell you the comments I get now of like people witnessing my growth and telling me how I’ve inspired them or how they’ve seen the change and various comments and all I’m doing is showing up day after day and doing the work, actually getting out there and being vulnerable and taking risks with full belief, but without any evidence that it might truly work.
Conclusion
I have to be planned for failure. I’ve gone through many disappointments. I have invested in many programs and in time, before, there’s such a delay before I see the results, but I keep going and the result of that is truly having a business of my dream that I can never create as a salaried PT, as working in a massage clinic or being a yoga teacher in the side gig type mindset, driving around from studio to studio.
I’ve turned my business around. I’ve turned my health around despite being having a genetic mutation and being diagnosed with cancer. We’ve invested in practitioners where we’ve worked on our marriage. I feel more connected to my husband. I also show up differently, less triggered as a mom so I can be more patient and connected to my daughter.
I’ve learned how to move from feeling numb to being able to experience both happiness and failure in my body and know that I’m still here. I can keep going! The world didn’t crash because I failed. The world didn’t crash because I was happy and the shoe wasn’t ripped out from underneath me or the rug wasn’t ripped out from underneath me. The shoe didn’t drop.
I know I can handle failure. I know I can handle disappointment. I’ve gone through last year one of the most awful things that I would never wish upon another human being with my brother passing away unexpectedly and I was able to work with practitioners to help me through it. I’m still working with practitioners to help me through it where I am healing from this day after day. I’m learning so much about myself in the process. I’m connecting and talking to my parents in a way I’ve never before, my sister in a way I’ve never before. It’s healing other relationships in my life and that enables me to show up as a better coach, as a better practitioner because I’m able to bring all those transformations, all those learnings, all those insights into my program.
I’m able to say to my entrepreneurs, “Yes, I’ve been there. I’ve been scared. I’ve failed. I’ve flopped and I’ve gotten back up. I have invested in this when it’s been scary.” I can go first for them, I can help them create the belief and you can do it too for your clients. They need you! People need wellness right now.
There’s so much going on with stress and pressure and busyness and social media and constant things being bombarded at them, information and ads and comparison and everything, but you have to believe first! You have to believe that you’re a practitioner who’s able to get people results. You have to believe that the wellness business that you desire to create is possible and believe so strongly that it can be possible in the hours that you want to work, in the way you have visioned even if it’s online and you’re not quite sure how your skills will transfer online, even if people tell you it’s risky, you have to create that belief down to your bones and on a shaky day because it happens, you’re able to bring it back if you feel down, if you’ve lost it, you have to be able to bring it back to keep going.
Think about how doing this work, remind yourself, that it can be such an example and an inspiration of others and if you’ve been coach hurt as they call it in the past where you’ve invested in programs, you’ve invested with mentors and felt like you haven’t gotten the result or it wasn’t the experience that you truly imagined, be honest with yourself. Why do you think you didn’t get the result? What truly happened for both the practitioner that you invested in or the program that you invested with and yourself where maybe did you play small in that program? Because then, when you’re aware, then you will have the courage to show up and try again because you can do it differently.

And if you’re to invest again, make sure you know specifically what you’re investing for. Just don’t invest to invest. Invest so you are going to fill a gap of knowledge in your business strategy or skills or mindset that’s existing right now in your business, not a gap or knowledge or strategy that you need two years from now or three years from now, but right now.
And when you invest in a program and you know the gap and you know the program can fill that gap, also determine what’s the specific result that you want to achieve in that program. Be tangible! Have it be clear and keep all of that in your mindset in the forefront when you’re going through that program and that’s when you will help to ensure that you will get the result and keep that in your awareness, even if the program’s completed and you still haven’t gotten the result, keep going, still implement the material, because it will happen.
Like I said, I’ve invested in programs and the result has been delayed but I’ve invested in programs like sometimes two or three at the same time and then I invest in another one right afterwards and it’s during that compound time where then I’ll get a big result towards the middle or the end or sometimes I might slow down because it depends on if you’re in a profit squeeze, you might be investing a lot all at one time and not taking home as much.
But then you’re planning on a bigger growth following that or if you want to keep the expenses leaner, take more home, but you still have to squeeze out every bit of learning from every any investment you can still grow till you max it out and find yourself kind of plateauing or stalling, and then it’s time to start the process over again. It will lead to bigger change. It’ll lead to bigger growth.
And if you’re having trouble creating that vision of what you really want in your wellness business or actually feel like you’re hustling towards that because where you are now is just horrible, then come talk to me because you want to work through this from a place of sufficiency from a place of feeling calm and grounded, knowing that right now is okay, right now is exactly where you need to be and yes, you can get to somewhere “better,” but also that will have its own set of obstacles and problems to work through so the more that you can create feelings of peace, calming, gratitude, acceptance, sufficiency for where you are now, then you can still have goals. You can still believe in yourself so strongly you can still even strive for big hairy audacious goals without the hustle, without the graspiness, without the overworking and the exhaustion.
