5 Signs You’re Working Too Hard in Your Business

I see it all the time. Ambitious adults running ragged because they are racing around from one thing to the next.

It’s not their fault.

Really it’s a product of our society.

Putting value, and having us believe, our worthiness is dependent upon our business, or even how much we struggle.

I mean who doesn’t love an underdog comeback story?

As I heal my cancer and Lynch story I’ve really been questioning everything (an eye opening process let me tell you!). How can things be easier? How can I serve the Lynch community, and any individual suffering from a health challenge and stay healthy myself? How can I help more entrepreneurs and continue to enjoy time with family? Just to point out a few.

In fact for my Health and Business Mastermind I just created a whole book with questions and thoughts to help open your mind and create solutions to issues that you might not even be aware of right now. It’s eye opening work that can help you create success faster and prevent drama and unexpected future troubles. This book is only available for participants in the mastermind.

Right now for you, I have two important questions. Have you stopped and checked in with yourself? Do you relate with any of these signs?

5 signs that you might be working too hard in business and/or for your health:

1. You feel like you’ve tried everything with no success, and are now frustrated.
2. You are not getting enough sleep, so feel like you aren’t thinking as clearly as you could.
3. You feel stressed, but feel like you don’t have time to do anything about it.
4. You feel you should/have to do certain things.
5. You are always crowdsourcing from others to find the answer.

If you resonated with any of these you are not alone.

The struggle is real.

I have worked with many people just like you struggling with these same issues.

Hi, I'm Dr. Alison McLean, DPT

I believe wellness practitioners deserve to live the freedom they teach.

Not someday. Not after one more certification or one more full caseload. Now. We entered this work to help people heal — and somewhere along the way, we became the most burned out people in the room. Seeing clients back to back, skipping meals, missing family moments, quietly wondering if this is as good as it gets. What they didn't teach us in school is that the business model we inherited was never designed to give us freedom. It was designed to keep us busy. There's a version of your practice that doesn't require your sacrifice as the cost of admission. One where your income isn't capped by your calendar, your clients get your best, and you actually have a life outside the treatment room.

That's the world I'm building — and I'd love to help you build it too.
